Jeff Park, a nice birthday trip! :) 10/11/2008

Mel and I hiked into the Jefferson Park wilderness this weekend to celebrate my birthday... The mountain had a fresh shot of snow (first of the year) and although that made for cold and wet feet, the color and lighting on Saturday was awesome. Anyway, I just wanted to warn you, if you don't like "reflection" photos, you should stop reading now!

Dude... unbelievable photos... so jealous. we went to Flagstone to climb, found too much snow, and turned around and went to the columns instead. What camera did you take those photos with? Those were amazing!

Hey Jon, I took those with my Canon SD800 point and shoot... I can only imagine that someone with real equipment and real "know how" could have taken advantage of the light. I was suprised that the snow level was so low, bummer about flagstone! Sounds like you made the best of it though.
